People who say "docker doesn't use LXC, it uses CGroups" drive me crazy, especially since I keep forgetting that CGroups is in LXC and I have to look it up in case I'm saying something stupid.

I wonder if there's ever gonna be "Understanding Modern Linux Kernel", perhaps in three tomes? I'd love to return to this book, but I don't feel even 3rd edition to be relevant, especially since there's literally not going to be anything new for me to remember, because I was following 2.6 pretty closely.

@dpwiz collapseos is so silly. The real post-collapse hardware will be all the old discarded android phones that you can power with a bicycle, which in the UK we have 50M of, according to a reasonable approximation. I tried to validate the hypothesis of collapseos and not only failed to find Z80 hardware in stores, but couldn't find any self-hostable hardware Z80 system online.

Maybe I'm stupid, but collapseos is a meme, nothing more. Has absolutely nothing to do with collapse resistance.

Heck, probably a bluetooth mesh network implementation will be more instrumental for post-collapse society than it.

Today I came up with an alright angle-shoot, while being mildly frustrated about missing turn three without two drops, playing around Daze.

Turn four I quickly tapped four lands and played a three drop. Opponent Dazed, to which I said "ok, I pay one".

Just posting it here to not forget since angle-shooting is not something I do often and it was really light-hearted.

@jb55 haha, sorry for confusion, "GHC" and "GCC" come from the problem statement. One is an assembly for programming ghost AIs and the other is a lsip virtual machine for programming Pacman AI.

@jb55

I remember we did something similar for one of the contests! It actually was a way smoother experience than I have expected.

I know this demo is kinda trashy, but it's a good introduction into how a "registration" works with and .

If you have any feature requests for a next-gen federated authentication and authorisation system, hit me up or make an issue: github.com/doma-engineering/do

You can also contribute stuff like biometrics support via react-native (to eliminate the password) and more fun protocols! We also need replication via federation for high availability.

If anyone is excited about system that anyone can set up in under half an hour (as opposed to ) and that uses VC/DID by default, and doesn't use blockchain to store data, let's chat too!

@cloudfog@mastodon.online I don't think you have to pay for services you don't use anywhere. I would probably start with threatening with legal action, normally the fuckers break when you signal that you can go all the way. They just don't need the problems with the "crazy customers". If you can flex that you can generate cascading bad publicity for them, they'll do what you need them to even quicker.

I managed to get a phone replaced that I bricked while flashing, because the shop attendant didn't give me the correct model while I was puchasing it. Granted, it was 's fuck-up, I'm pretty sure, contractually, they could have (and tried) to tell me to go fuck myself.

If you need a Teams (or other chat app) background for your next big conference call, I put this one together.
