Just the fact that some dudes opensource their code doesn't mean they're nice.
They just yeeted some shitty code and are now dissing everyone who don't understand their shit error messages and spaghetti architecture.

Note that I understand the answers, but it doesn't make those adequate. Both of the answers suck immensely.
Another illustration that my outburst was justified is that their error reporting is non-existent. The same error message can be caused by a lot of issues, particularly funny is a situation when `gnome-keyring-daemon` is started under the right user (explicitly), but still timeouts.
Deranged garbage. Sorry for swearing in your feed. So sad that #vscode uses exactly gnome-keyring.
