Wow, our society really embraced the era of shaming people or even forcing them into self-shame for wearing masks.
Because masks are now seen as something that only weirdos use, and you don't want to look like a weirdo, you don't want other people around you to think you're a weirdo, do you?

This government had a chance to normalize mask-wearing for epidemics, and instead it managed to make even those people who would otherwise wear masks, to avoid them.
