back when storybundle was born, i was overexcited, having just discovered the world of indie writing and self publishing, having read through all of doctorow as much for his stance on indie & copyright as for his ability to appeal to a teenager in me without dumbing things down.

i had accumulated maybe five or six bundles before i understood that most of what i was buying i just could not read. the stories… were just not at the level i expected from a properly curated sci-fi collection, or any collection.

so i stopped buying the bundles, but kept watching story bundle announces and reading available fragments, especially when another sci-fi bundle appeared.
