I'm super glad to see fellow lefists / left-leaning centrists to agree with my takes about #AI etc.
If we would've just shut up and reclaim AI for the public like #GPTNeoX people are doing, or like #StabbleDiffusion people are doing, it would be great.
AI is not your enemy, #OpenAI's domination is.
@richservo there's an important subtlety. I don't think that #OpenAI is our enemy either. It's just another aspiring megacorporation. It may become one, but it's not yet. The domination of this company in the #AI market has to be prevented though. And we know that anti-trust laws won't do it for us. We habe ro put in the hours into protecting ourselves.
@richservo I hope they were smart enough to push him out of decision-making.
