@jonn This is something that's good to be very aware of but I don't believe that means the software they wrote and maintained is somehow tainted. Under no circumstances is anybody dependent on the Lemmy dev team, the source is open and no instance is forced to federate with the lemmy.ml or lemmygrad instances.

Only using software or infrastructure that isn't in one way or another involved in inhumane practices is quite literally impossible. We *can* call out those responsible and push back.
