@jonn I'm not sure what you're asking.
There is a built in "blocked instances" comma separated field in the Lemmy admin interface where you can block servers.
Defederating from the Mastodon side would be just adding in the domain name, I assume.

@boris I'm asking if it's easy to detect any and all lemmy protocol messages and disallow them in mastodon.

Lemmygrad.ml and lemmy.ml were moved to different servers since 2022, but they still use the same obscure DNS server. Obviously, whois is anonymised, but the evidence is overwhelming.
