Donald Trump represents the United States. Until you have deposed him, strung him up from an Esso garage on the edge of a city square, or just voted him out, he represents all the people of the US. He is your president.
When Britain was faced with Nazi Germany, it was of no use for Britons to remember that Hitler did not represent the people of the Reich, and that there were some nice Germans.
Today, your country is an existential threat to mine. Period.
@NovaNaturalist @Wileymiller @SnowshadowII it's awfully hard for us "good Americans" to accept the results of our actions. And recognize that this failure is indeed ours personally. Even if we voted for Harris. We still all massively failed.

@kdw btw, we're totally with you! And we're grateful to those who were fighting. In a way it's also our failure as we weren't approaching enough right-leaning people online and changing their minds.
The upshot is that we have to keep fighting and victory is possible. Do not despair!
