Went hiking with my partner and her mother today. Had some great views from top of the mountains.
The view was so wide we were able to see the earth curvature. May not be so visible on the picture.
@TFG I would lose it if I saw Earth curvature. Existential dread is too real. At the same time, I'm happy for you that you can enjoy stuff like this. I love mountains, flying. But sadly my brain says "nope".
I'm absolutely terrified of height. I never entered a plane or went on a ride on a roller coaster. But when it comes to such views from a mountain top I'm absolutely fine with.
Maybe because I grew up up here and I'm used to it.

My partner plans to visit a place with her mother tomorrow where some kind of a wooden path is built on huge poles right above the tree tops...some 30m high .. like long and winding wooden bridge... With a big wooden tower as main attraction. And she wants me to come with them.
Nope. Nope. Nope!
