@jonn at the same time, Musk's X is waging a campaign of bans against sex workers despite rampant misinformation on its platform relating to the current conflict.
@jonn point I'm more trying to make is that very large online platforms such as Instagram and Facebook are trying to employ AI-based moderation tech that makes the final call, which almost always has biases, without humans involved in the moderation process.
The comment about it “being against our policy of enabling them" was more a jab at the fact that Facebook & Meta has a history of allowing disinformation & moderating against actual counterpoints silencing voices (see: Myanmar & others)
