And even then, think about countries like the USA, Russia, Latvia, where there is a surplus of vaccines and yet people refuse to vaccinate.

That said, I absolutely agree with you that there are some positive aspects to it, but ask yourself -- would you rather live in a shittier version of 2019 or a better version of 2021? :)

@raichoo ah yeah. I don't know much about wayland, but in X people who need marginal features can save their work and re-load into another WM.

For instance, recently I needed dark theme in FF and the best way to get it was to unload XMonad and load stock Ubuntu WM, which is aware of the notion of "the system theme".
