I have played #Root #boardgame online today and #WarChest. Both using a computer vs a friend.

Both were absolutely amazing. #ImposterKings and #Undaunted really need an engine implementation and then I have no idea why would anyone play anything else. :)

But honestly, all of these games are gems of game design. Can't recommend enough.

@IngaLovinde I don't know what to say. You know that in France railroad is national but trains are private, right? Once again, getting to the more mountainous places is hard without making new tunnels. Making new tunnels is very expensive. All of this is a non-problem, you can get anywhere in central Europe and even Balkans with a series of bullet trains +8h despite unfavorable terrain in many places.

@IngaLovinde but since we're going to Nizhnevartovsk, I assume we're traveling through Yekaterinburg? But what if we now want to go Nizhnevartovsk - Norilsk where there's comparable amount of mountains to going from Rome to Milan (but several times less). Distances ACW are 1010km and 934km respectively.

I guess my point is that your analysis discovers that mountains are hard & cross-government planning is too.

@richlv oh yeah, putin has bought American "patriots" turning them into literal vatniks. But then again, it's not like fascists were the sharpest ever.

@richlv if anything, putin has managed to undo all the sabotage of the States he has contributed to because for now, the USA is clearly an ally of the free world. Afterwards, of course, the Americans (some pun intended) will have to deal with the fact that they live in a police state which has developed oligarchic elements. My point is that for the time being we should collectively shut the fuck up and applaud States for their stance in this conflict and on China.

@richlv a friend of mine in Berlin got a visit from an inspector for running a legitimate bittorrent seedbox. I think it was 2015? To his best understading, the guy was a cop.

@julienmalka protesting a fine is so much more annoying than explaining to an inspector what an opensource license is 😃
