As a #queer person, I'm getting even more upset about interactions like this.

So many queer people are brainwashed by russian-iran-chinese propaganda beyond being possible to be reasoned with (it's kinda of like conspiratorial thinking).

I guess it makes sense that malevolent actors target strong marginalised groups though, so gotta try to win back some minds where possible...

Also, frankly, of idiocy. The degree to which losing loved ones to occupation, losing culture and connection to the family history is significantly more traumatic than a conceptual idea of injustice can't be overestimated.

@garbados yeah, ruskies has occuppied my and many other counties, killed a lot of natives, now they (you?) keep doing it in #Ukraine with popular support.

As you can imagine, it's pretty traumatic, and it trauma trigger is certainly not what people normally expect when they see what can be a cute video.

This sort of stuff should be CWed for mental health.

@dch just to be clear, on Oct 7th I have characterised Israel as a "fascist democracy", so I was never Israel supporter, even during the first two weeks, however I felt betrayed by people I have been supporting for a long time (Palestinians) and I shan't do so anymore either. I also felt that it's important to defend the right of the countries to wage a defensive war (as my country shall need to very soon against russia).

@dch I'm really glad I didn't unfollow you during the first two weeks btw, when we were in different camps. I will still not support Gaza and Palestinians until HAMAS is in power, but I also absolutely resent Israel for complete and utter discreditation of waging defensive wars.

Israel needs to be stopped, HAMAS needs to be dismantled, two state solution should be finally arranged. If Israelis are incapable of stopping their criminal government, they are complicit just as germans were and russians are.

You sometimes just have to go for it, innit.
