No software has ever robbed me of my time and life force as much as the Unity game engine.
Every time I wrap up a project, I wish to never use it again, yet every time a low budget high ambition project comes my way, we suffer again.

So... I was playing #WatchOverChristmas game and in act 2 you need to do fishing.
To maintain a #pacifist run, I had to find a skip of the fishing puzzle.
Which I did!
It is the first time ever I found a glitch and a skip in a computer game (probably because I don't play computer games much).
But yeah, coming back to the @eniko's toot about wholesome games and my stance that in real world there is enough cruelty for us not needing it in video games... I find it so fucking weird that a wholesome-presenting game makes player have a 12 year old kid kill two living beings to "save Santa". Ehhh. Wtf.
Also, I looked through other peoples' playthrough and the fishing scene is super... Cringe?

@ChrisMayLA6 oh yeah, UK and Germany (or Austria?! I confuse the two in terms of shit service) are *so* bad. I had to switch operators when I moved to London because #Vodafone has no coverage near #Barbican!
But then #E3 doesn't have coverage in #CoventGarden? (Maybe no company has?).
It's crazy! Like I can't stress enough how much the technology is there to have complete coverage in a capital of a country even with the population density (which isn't even that high compared to some other places in the world which are covered).

I just had a Thought. Obviously, we can't simply pass a law banning #X specifically from operating in the #EuropeanUnion . It would set a terrible precedent, likely wouldn't pass the courts, and wouldn't be very effective since X could just rebrand itself or something.
But we _could_ introduce, say, the "Social Media Transparency Act" which would require all social media systems operating in the European Union to either use a strict timeline, _or_ publish the precise algorithm they use to show content to their users. And if there are any variables specific to the user, their profile, their region and so forth, then users must be able to request the values of these parameters as they apply to them at any time.
And if any social media companies in the European unions do not comply... well _then_ we can fine and/or ban them!
