We're rudder.io, a secops tool for checking and enforcing security configurations, patch, best practices on heterogenous IT infra.

It's a 15y old Scala project, maintained with love, now mostly zio based and on the verge to switch to Scala 3. We also do elm for front, and the system team does rust and f#.

Small team (6 for dev), extremely low turnover, floss good citizens, strong and sustainable growth.

Šo grāmatu iesāku un tad uz ilgu laiku noliku malā. Tagad no rītiem pa gabaliņiem "graužos" cauri. Teksts diezgan sarežģīts, akadēmisks, vairāk kā studentu mācību grāmata. Ko esmu sapratusi - radniecība ir ļoti komplicēta sistēma, kam ir liela ekonomiskā un politiskā nozīme.

Hello temporal confusion - I have just missed one of my favorite collab meetings because the USA are still on daylight savings time and I forgot to adapt the time in my calendar. And this though I reminded people who were supposed to attend another meeting earlier today of exactly this just yesterday myself ... 🙄

(Thread 3/3) The rep looked pissed off. It was obvious he didn't understand why anyone wouldn't want to make more money and he'd just publicly and definitively been rejected in such a polite way he couldn't protest.

A young woman entered as the rep left. She was soft spoken and blushed as she spoke but the owner immediately greeted her by name and asked which type of chiffon cake she would like.

She opted for the purple yam one and after the owner had plated it, his wife hummed to herself as she piped cream on with a happy grin. Moments later, Dutch tourists walked in and the owner shared a 10 minute chat with them about V60 coffee making.

Later, some high school students dropped by, wanting a type of sushi that had run out. The owners offered to make some fresh for them. And the whole time the vibe was that their customers were in their house and they were enjoying being hosts.

And that's it. Two people who know what makes them happy, with their business based in a town that appreciates them. They both love what they do (I have learned SO many glorious coffee facts) and their food is freakin' amazing... And they told a giant corporation to politely never come back.

Any typos spotted in this monster thread have been caused by the consumption of the best katsu chicken I have ever tasted, made by someone who hummed softly to herself as she made it. If spotted, please inform typos that they can get their V60 coffee at the counter with the cake of their choice. (3/3)

I sincerely cannot understand why otherwise normal and thoughtful people/organizations continue to patronize X/Twitter. I literally quit my job as an exec at Twitter when it became clear Musk would take over the company, and the level of ineptitude and noxiousness today has dramatically exceeded what I thought would have been possible at the time.

Hey, folks be careful what photos you are sharing because I noticed a couple of computer generated today, and just recently that is being used to manipulate your feelings and opinions...even about wars.

Make sure when you see one that causes your emotions to soar, you check the original source, don't just assume it is real .
