Orcas have sunk 3 boats in Europe and appear to be teaching others to do the same.
Scientists think a traumatized orca initiated the assault on boats after a "critical moment of agony" and that the behavior is spreading among the population through social learning.

Beautiful video. Honestly, can't hate on #StevenWilson. He's doing his thing and it's cool. If I want to, I can grab an old CD, but modern re-releases are very important to have.
From the comments under the YouTube video which I rewatch every year since 2010, I have learned of the passing of #RayShulman. I'm deeply saddened by this... It may sound a bit goofy, but lately, #GentleGiant releases a lot of new visual content, music videos and all. All the Shulmans got together and made the anniversary release of #GentleGiant discography.
It feels like Ray could have done so much more...

Don't trust people who don't like #GentleGiant.

Was taking a shower, thinking about my art and tech project ideas for which I'd rather have a team, thinking about the heroic efforts of @spacekookie with their projects *while* getting funding while coping with an immense amounts of bureaucracy. (BTW, give them your money! #Irdest[1] HAS TO GET ADOPTED!).
I think that in a society with guaranteed basic income or in a self-sovereign, self-sufficient commune we (collectively) could have achieved so much more. Our time here is finite, why do we need to have such a shit baseline for existence?
The aren't ironic questions, perhaps some #capitalism fan will answer with some meta-analysis or something. I'm especially interested in hearing from people who understand how decision-making is organised in existing #socialist-congruent countries like #Sweden, #Germany and #Canada. How come your governments didn't establish universal income yet? Is it considered? What are the actual drawbacks?

#ManillaRoad is very very very good.
I was thinking about XML, toml and JSON and I realised that they should be small. As long as they are small, they are readable and comprehensible.
Interestingly, XML scales a little bit better because it reminds you of the context when the context ends.
I really like some systems that incorporate inlining the code into their configs, but I'd prefer for it to go the other way — have configs in code.
The way #elixir and #webpack handle configuration is almost perfect.
So apparently that was 6th longest game in the history of the sport. I need to look up the stats now.

Please contribute to #TimeGhost #DDay project. Their sponsor has pulled out and this absolutely has to happen.
