This is an experiment. Please boost.
Here's the idea: This post is going first to my followers, then, if they boost it, to other people. This domain has been registered for only this experiment. I should see in my web server's logs when mastodon instances start crawling the site for info. Then maybe also some curious humans.
I just want to play with my monitoring a bit :)

OpenAI have acknowledged that their latest LLM, dubbed "Orion", is only a smal improvement on previous models, despite an order of magnitude more time, money and resources being used to train it.
I called it 18 months ago. This is about as good as LLMs are gonna get folks.
*Now* can we get back to solving real problems?
In case you needed another reason to support @internetarchive .. consider their End of Term project, which attempts to archive a big chunk of the US Government's web presence before each new 4-year presidential term begins.
This is truly a race against time, to preserve information that may no longer be available on the live web for open access.

Just as I had to got rid of #haskell tag (in favour of #lean), sadly, I feel like it's time to get rid of #elixir tag in my bio.
I'm doing a #rust rewrite of #ZeroHR backend now and while I'm not ruminating too much over the time and money spent on #elixir backend, I find it so much cheaper and faster to write in well-typed languages.
I really hope to become profitable so that I can have a look at #PureNix + #PureErl + #PureScript combo, but I think I'm years away from such a luxury.
@sjolsen i got it!
