@TheActualBrian good links. Just in case, my point was that not even 100 years ago, german cops have killed people literally by the millions. For the time being it's hard to trump it (no pun intended), but cop apologists must always remember that the quantity and quality of the institutionalised opression can very quickly become large enough to include... ...them.

But yeah, my policy is never to host bare metal servers in the "first world" countries. I pay a person to host and maintain my servers in some Eastern European country.
