Wrote a prototype for pipe syntax in #PostgreSQL.

Doesn't yet work on any expression in the session (AFAICT hooks happen a bit late there), but you can rewrite them.

I met @nasser at @causalislands this week, and learned about this incredible art project they did back in 2017, where they modded Wolfenstein 3D to ask the player ethical questions before allowing them to fire at Nazis.

#French drinks giant Pernod Ricard has restarted some exports of brands including Beefeater #gin and #Jameson whiskey to russia.

Pernod Ricard said it had resumed limited shipments to "ensure the economic viability" of its russian operations.

But campaigners said the move was "disgusting".

The drinks firm had to U-turn on exporting Absolut vodka to russia last week after a backlash.

Reading about #bluesky, it's impressive to me how little Jack has learned.

As somebody who (briefly) worked at Twitter on anti-abuse, the place is a goldmine of lessons on fucked-up behavior. And the CEO comes out of the cryptocurrency space, which also has a rich history of garbage people run wild.

But instead of something that applies any of that, they have apparently produced the same sort of tired neoliberal marketplace-of-ideas horseshit product that Twitter was to start.
