1-2 on the draw vs big Disguise (RG Performer, got flooded, so not representative. On the draw In: Macabre Reconstruction, Out: Informant. On the play: In: 2-drop, Out: Informant),
2-1 on the draw vs UW tempo (play around counterspells, force them to tap out, win with huge Robbery. No changes).

Notably, I probably misbuilt this and should've ran Alley Assailant main deck instead of the second copy of the Informant.

BTW, I absolutely understand #Polish sentiment.

Think about what happened to them in #WW2: getting attacked by #Germany and #USSR at the same time.

The West has failed to act on their intervention promises.

Displaced Poles accepted as refugees in neighbouring countries, which, very quickly, fell to #nazis, forcing them to move again.

Poles fighting alongside Charles De Gaulle's armies and flying wing to wing with British and Indian #RAF pilots.

Red army failing to act on their intervention promise during Warsaw uprising despite having a huge battle group not 30 KM away down the Vistula river.

And finally, when the victory felt near, the West has betrayed them once again, agreeing to give #Poland to #stalin.

So while I find anti-humanist takes by Mr. Makler and his fellow #kremlin-paid actors absolutely disgusting, I can't blame those Poles who know the recent history of their country for falling for it.

The problem is that, sadly, it perpetuates situations like the ones Poland was during #WW2, so even though I understand anti-humanist voices, even of those who delude themselves into thinking that there is any logic in what Mr. Makler is saying beyond pure revanchism, I have zero respect for Poles who fall for this.

A big part of the reason of why I decided to not tie my life with #Poland back during the active phase of war in #Syria (I was living in #Krakow back then) was the popular opposition to accepting refugees. I would ask Poles "do you understand that when a person flees the war you accept them first and ask questions later, if not for that, you personally wouldn't be here", but this very basic argument, sadly, would fall on deaf ears.

This is why today, I and all of my #Ukraine support network #boycott #polish products.

Random thought — I have a tight-knit #Ukraine support group which is a band of my friends and me. My friends also contribute to other groups, so do I. There are amazing humans like @EugeneMcParland on mastodon with whom I'm only acquainted here, but we don't live that far from each other.

Question: if all of us will try to get together after the victory of #Ukraine, how large of a venue will we have to book? Where would be the "center of mass" of such gathering?
